I think it's rather nice, actually. But only with a black top/other black stuff to go with it.

I think it depends on you and who you are - your personality, your work - and when and where you would wear it. I can see that it could look quite cool (like the way it is worn in the photograph) but I imagine you need to be perhaps a bit arty or creative.......iyswim? If I saw someone wearing it, I would think that they probably were exactly that.

The thing is it would be hugely appropriate for my work - without saying too much about the subject I teach, the fact that it has a collection of old photos on it would be very relevant
I think my students would be impressed as long as it is not breaking some style rule that I'm not aware of

I don't like it. But if I saw someone wearing it with a black top and black boots I'd think it looked ok. I was going to suggest a skirt with a print on instead but if it is relevant to you and you like it then go for it!

I think the fact that it is "relevant" makes it worse not better. But I can't work out why I think this

I barely know who Lily Allen is but I imagine she is someone young people like, so perhaps that would count in my favour

I really like it, but only with black.

I like the way she has dyed her hair to match the pink bits on the dress. That takes planning!

Kathy I really like the grey Rob Ryan version, (page two of grown up kits) they have a lot of cool skirts, was lusting after them the other day! I'm not sure the photo one is as nice though.

They have some nice ones and some foul and bizarre ones. WTF are they on with the bustle skirt? The halterneck dress is not too good either.
