I would go to salon and ask beautician's advice - if you only have a couple it might be worth having electrolysis or laser instead.

threading

I prefer threading, doesn't leave a red mark afterwards which always happens to me after waxing.

ok thanks i dont think threading is that popular in ireland yet but i will enquire

Ok, confession time here. I've had my 'tache waxed at a couple of salons and I've done it at home myself but I always, always end up with spots on my upper lip area a couple of days afterwards.

So what I do now - which does not end up in me getting spots is... Oh God... right I get my mascara - you know where I'm going with this already don't you?

Use your mascara to 'highlight your 'tache' so to speak, plonk yourself in front of a mirror with a good light source and get busy with the tweezers. It's not as bad as it sounds, honest!

The only thing is that if you alternate left to right as you work in to the centre you do end up with a comedy Hitler 'tache so you need to make sure you're not expecting visitors or that your DH/DP won't disturb you!!
