Ok - so what's the oldest item of clothing that own that you still wear.......

just seen the jeans thread - none of mine are that old by any stretch of the imagination - think the oldest is about 3 months old .

BUT - I do have some clothes which I've had for a VERY long time........pair of pyjamas, still has my name in them from when I had them at school, the elasticated waist is rather stretched now................and the label

10-12yrs!!!................I'm 26 now - the top 'nearly' bursts open with the buttons, but still very comfortable

I have a T-shirt I had when I was 9 or 10 (17ish years ago). I got it when I lived in Swaziland. It's cool

Little black dress that is oh.....20+ yrs old (doesn't come out very often!) but it was made for me by a close friend so can't bear to bin it...

How odd, I only thought about this very topic this morning! My oldest item must be a black vest top that I bought yonks ago - mid 80s (anyone remember Richards?). I have worn it so many times its a wonder it's not fallen to bits. I have tried to buy new replacements - much they are just not as good !
