red or purple! help!

Ok am witness and doing a reading at my best friends wedding in july. bridesmaids are in cream with hot pink gerbera flowers. colour and theme of wedding is hot pink hearts.

this is the style of the dress that i need and the right size but do i go for red or purple

ihave brown hair with highlights and a good bust! thought i'd wear a cream jacket over it for the ceremony and then take it off for the evening. really like the red but am worried about clashing!

Agree - purple looks more weddingy. Red is nice but more party-ish

Think the purple would look better with the hot pink theme but tbh, not sure it matters that much. You will probably be on a couple of pics with just the bride & groom and bridesmaids (after signing the register etc.) but mostly, you;ll be with the rest of the guests as well and they'll presumably be wearing a whole array of colours.

If you prefer the red, I'd go for it

the red is gorgeous, but looks a bit more dressy, sort of for a ball or something more evening based. So, I would go for the purple for this occassion.

Purple will look loveky. Red would clash and may be a little OTT at a wedding.

NO! dash and blast it! only the red availbe now and i really don't think its the right colour for the wedding much as i love the dress!

will keep looking...............
