I am afraid it reminds me of 1980's bedsheets that my mum had.

LoveMyLapTop · 12/02/2009 19:39

I am going up town tomorrow night
wearing it with opaue tights and high heeld ankle boots
Chunky pink bangle
and those ery 80's pink button earrings!

Dont mind if you dont like it cos i will still think that i look fab!!

I don't like it but on the right person I can imagine it would look really good in a sort of quirky, retro kind of way.

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2009 19:40

Looks like you would look pregnant in it (sorry)

samsonara · 12/02/2009 19:41

I like it , I think the cut would be flattering on and some pick accessories to pick up the colour in the dress and some opaque tights and heels maybe would make a nice outfit imo.

flowerybeanbag · 12/02/2009 19:41

Hope you have a fab time. I agree it looks like 1980's bedlinen, but hey, what do I know?!

samsonara · 12/02/2009 19:41

pink that is not pick

SalBySea · 12/02/2009 19:42

love the dress, hate marmite

LoveMyLapTop · 12/02/2009 19:42

It looks better on and has an asymetric neckline.
I luvs it!

Lizzylou · 12/02/2009 19:43

I really like it, it's different but not too outlandish

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 12/02/2009 19:43

On me it would look like I bought it the first time round in the 80's

Lovely dress though.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 12/02/2009 19:44

Fab cut and style. I think with the right attitude you could definitely pull it off.

LoveMyLapTop · 12/02/2009 19:44

The 80s are back in girls!!
I did it all first time around, is all good fun!
And I am going to drink and dance my arse off!
Look out Cardiff!!!

differentCupID · 12/02/2009 19:46

Thing is the 80's were shit the first time around.

LoveMyLapTop · 12/02/2009 19:48

Its not often i find sommething i really like so get a bit over excited when I do.
Am hoping it will look a bit 'Fern Cottonesque'!!!
Fancy myself as an agingrock chick!

BitOfFun · 12/02/2009 19:57

Iove it!!

TheCrackFox · 12/02/2009 20:06

Hate the dress but love Marmite.

MrsMattie · 12/02/2009 20:07

Not my cuppa, but can imagine it looking nice on someone younger and slimmer than me!

Sidge · 12/02/2009 20:42

I imagine it's very unforgiving. It would cling to all my lumpy bits. But if you have no lumpy bits and are young enough that you didn't wear stuff like that first time round I imagine it'll look just fine

SoupDragon · 12/02/2009 20:46

It looks like the seamstress was p*ssed.

JackieNo · 12/02/2009 20:48

I like it, and I suspect, with all the gathering etc, it might be more forgiving than you might think.

Heated · 12/02/2009 20:55

I like it, and it looks like nothing I wore in the 80s!
