After the wankest clothes thread. I wondered want have you brought lately that you are soooo happy with. OR What is on your shopping wish list? I might get some great ideas. I need some lovely wedgie shoe right now but I haven't started to look.

Bright pink new season V-neck cashmere sweater from Gap.

dexter73 · 11/02/2009 10:31

I got this sweater in damson and I absolutely love it. I have been wearing it loads!! (BTW it was a birthday present!!)

starbear · 11/02/2009 12:31

dexter73 I like that and the little vest advertised underneath it. I'm rubbish at washing woollens so would never buy cashmere until I would afford a ladies maid

lush bargain handbag in TK Maxx

AnyFuckerForAShiteSoppyCard · 11/02/2009 15:09

bargainous Diesel jeans from TK Maxx

white shirt from River Island

slouchy beige cardi from Republic

MamacitaGordita · 11/02/2009 15:23

Oooh that Brora jumper is LUSH.

My all time favourite purchase of late is a quilted Oscar de la Renta leather bag with a tassel I found in a vintage shop. And it was a bargain too! Goes with everything...

And a nightie my mum bought me when I was heavily (HEAVILY) pg that is still so comfy, flattering and makes me feel sexy! Miraclewear!

MamacitaGordita Hi,

Gorgeous jumper Dexter

janeite · 11/02/2009 18:31

Love that jumper.

I bought some pixie boots in the Office sale. I love them even though I haven't worn pixie boots since I was about 18 (20 years ago). They are very cute and comfortable.

This shirt from Jigsaw is fabulous. Understated enough for daytime with a long-sleeve top beneath but sexy enough without t-shirt for drinks and dinner

MrsSeanBean · 11/02/2009 18:45

Hi Mrs JS (my trusted style arbiter )

That is nice, do you think Jigsaw is looking up once again?

mollyroger · 11/02/2009 18:45

a rteally cute pea green short sleeved shirt from H&M. Wore it today and had a million compliments. Well worth £10 for the happiness it brought me.

brimfull · 11/02/2009 19:04

the fish I bought from sainsburys today was delicious

brimfull · 11/02/2009 19:07

actually was eyeing this up,very similar to jigsaw one

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 11/02/2009 19:11

Hi Mrs SB Minor thread hijack warning......FWIW, I would buy the Chanel handbag and all the other goodies if its going to make you smile every time you open the wardrobe

I have been totally off Jigsaw for ages now - have not even been impressed enough to buy bargainous items in their sale as the quality and general look was not particularly brilliant. However, was perusing selection in John Lewis today and was impressed. Their light cashmere knits and layering tops are definitely worth a second look. I am tempted to go back and buy the navy cashmere round neck I tried on earlier (which was £39 in the sale). But am interested to know how they survive the wash process.......have been sorely stung with Jaegar cashmere which DH treated me to last year and which shrank by about two sizes despite following first wash .

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 11/02/2009 19:11

sorry......that should read despite following washing instructions the first time I washed it.....

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 11/02/2009 19:15

ggirl.....that is remarkably similar! The Jigsaw one is shiny though (not naff satin high shine ) rather than a matt finish. Am impressed by the reduction on that shirt! Tis what I call a real sale as opposed to to a token "knock a fiver off and call it an end of season sale" sale

MrsSeanBean · 11/02/2009 19:24

I'm pondering this one too (in blue), also along similar lines to Jigsaw & Wrap offerings.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 11/02/2009 19:27

Tis clearly the season of the navy ruffle shirt!

brimfull · 11/02/2009 19:27

another one??

pamelat · 11/02/2009 19:49

I love that wrap website, anyone have any experience of them.

brimfull · 11/02/2009 19:54

yes I ahve got a few things
quality is quite good but I avoid paying full price

pamelat · 11/02/2009 19:59

thank you, am looking at sale stuffy only

Just cautious because £5 delivery and I think I pay for sale returns too? I did this with Boden once and it cost me a lot.

fin42 · 11/02/2009 23:32

I've just bought this and it's really flattering and very good quality for the price.

DisasterArea · 11/02/2009 23:36

a very cute and ver stylish dog.
everyone looks at him, not what skanky jeans and welies i've thrown on.
