Put the shoes down and run away...fast.

Where do you plan to wear them?

well the current options are:

winter - boots must zip all the way down and be unusually wide and allow for high insteps and orthotic insoles that I have to wear

summer - birkenstocks

only other options are trainers.

makes wardrobe very limited.

I feel your wide-footed pain.

not to mention being a 35 / 3 so lots of shoes don't even start that small anymore.

Can recommend the mock-croc shoe-boots here (although mine were reduced in the Scholl shop. Bird from the Guardian assures me shoeboots are in but I prefer to wear them under nice long trousers. I have wide and high feet.

I think the heels may be too high to accommodate my orthotic insoles
