Dress help please ! Black tie dinner for FIL's 70th

I do have dresses that fit the bill, but as evil SIL will be there, I'd like to feel great. I also have another dinner/dance event to go to soon. Budget flexible, but don't want to spend a fortune

Am 36,5'9, size 12, small of nork, and very pale of skin. Don't plan on having a fake tan for this, which is required to wear strapless.

Any ideas ?

Just heard of a new website girlmeetsdress.com that lets you hire designer dresses, worth a look?

here

you could hire 2 different ones?

or, if you want to shop, what shops do you have near you?

cmotdibbler · 09/02/2009 20:41

I can get to most shops, so it's not a big problem there.

Will check out dress hire - a great idea !

Does it have to be long?

cute but short

a bit plain

my fav

cmotdibbler · 09/02/2009 20:57

No, any length will be fine. Although nice SIL is wearing full length, so perhaps would be best to go with that.

The Juicy dress is lovely, but I am too neon white for one shouldered

no i don't think so - a bit of blusher on the shoulder would be fine.

would be cute with a little patent belt and you have the height to carry it off
