Long top, short dress. Shoes/Boots thoughts needed....

I have one, and I intend to wear it. The kind one could wear skinny jeans or leggings under, but that I want to wear teal coloured tights/stockings under.

The dress is kinda slate grey and pretty short, cowl shaped neckline with very long sleeves.

I am thinking that black boots are best because if I wear owt else I will be showing a lot of leg. I don't mind showing a lot of leg, I am happy with my legs but then I am thinking it might just make the dress seem shorter and I'd have to tone down the colour to say a deep red..

Anyway.

Verdicts please. Short dress/long top whaddya wear on your feet?

I wear boots with leggings or jeans at t he moment.
If dress nearer knee length,I might wear thick tights with ballrt flats or Mary Jane type shoes.
I think it depends on whether it is more a top,or a dress,tbh,ie length.

hmm, from memory it is short, like thigh short. But I have left it at work so can't be sure exactly. Def not knee length though.

Yeah working, I've got new arrangement that I'm trying out involving working away from home for a few days a week. tis a bit weird and I miss my scruffy haired dc but I think it'll be better this way.

oooh could give more detail sometime on MSN if yer like.

Kids are hunky dorey though!
