i love liz earle too.. and always recommend it to people. I use the C&P, toner , moisturiser (there is often an offer for all 3 for about £36 Plus you get a full size bottle of somethine else thrown in. I also use the daily eye thing and the skin exfoliator which i also really like as just right. Not too harsh, not too soft. I also like the brightening mask - blimey , that's alot of products!! I haven't bought any of the body products as somehow i can't justify the expense for my body skin that no ones sees but I think it's good value for the face stuff. If I was richer, I would buy it all!

Love it. I use cleanse and polish, moisturiser and eye repair.

I love the cleanse and polish, the deep cleansing mask, the orange blossom body wash and the superskin serum.

I also use the moisturiser - yes, it doesn't have an spf but I buy Elemis spf serum which you can put under any moisturiser (very effective) for £15 (lasts forever) from www.qvcuk.com

I get all my Liz Earle products from QVC as they often hav special kits.

LoveMyLapTop · 05/02/2009 15:52

I found the moisturiser too oily fro my combination skin

scampadoodle · 05/02/2009 15:55

Love cleanse & polish, and the face exfoliator. The toner is nice but not essential. The service is very good when you order online or on the phone. I Liz Earle!

I used to love it, but it started to bring me out in a rash and make my eyes water. I've had probs with aloe vera before so it's probably just me.

I got the 'Try me Kit' at Christmas.

Massively disappointed. Very overated and very overpriced. Made no difference to my skin at all.

It's a load of hype.

I bought myself a set just before chistmas.

The cleaner & hot polish is good, but when it ran out I tried Tesco BNatural Organic cleaner, which works the same way and is only about £3.50. I wouldn't pay the extra for LE again.

I liked the toner. I often find toners bring me out in red blothes, but this didn't. Having said that, Simple toner works well for me too and is much cheaper.

The moisutriser was nice. I have very oily skin and found it not too heavy and you only need a tiny bit. Biggest problem here is it has no SPF that I can see, so it useless as a day moiseriser for me.

Haven't tried Liz Earle stuff but my friend is a massive fan. Has anyone with very dry and somewhat sensitive skin tried using it? I've been on a hunt for a good cleanser / moisturiser for pretty much all of my adult life, but have very dry skin and tend to react to some stuff (especially things like Neal's Yard and Dr Haushka - I think maybe the oils are too strong for my skin?)

winnie09 · 08/02/2009 11:39

I used Liz Earle for a few years and it is the only thing that has ever been kind to my skin. In fact my skin glowed. However, I have spent six months trying to find something cheaper that works but frankly the money I've spent searching should have been spent on Liz Earle products as my skin is suffering badly as a result. In fact I am off to place an order now

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 08/02/2009 11:46

It's not expensive on QVC - it was their 'Todays Special Value' yesterday - 87 pounds worth of product for 37.

I forgot to order it

veryembarrassedmummy · 08/02/2009 16:25

Just bought the line serum.

I think some of it is overpriced- if I was going to spend that amount, I'd stick with Clinique or REN- currently my favourite, and it is truly "nasties free"- their Frankincense repair stuff is brill- using it every day and not just at night now it's so cold outside!

I have used all sorts of cleansers from Clinique to REN- I love REN but at around £16 it is pricey- however, I also like L'Oreal cleanser for mature skin- it's gentle- and costs around £3. I have very sensitive skin.

You can get the "polish effect" by using any cleanser. I massage cleanser all over, wipe off with cotton wool pads, then go over it all again with cotton wool pads soaked in warm water- the slight abrasion from the pads gently exfoliates.

I really don't think cleansers are that different, and it's not worth paying £££s unless you are reacting to cheaper ones.

I like REN when I can afford it, as a lot of what you put on your skin is absorbed, and their products are totally free of nasties.
