my 2 week challange - anyone want to join me?

I am 41 and a half and have officially let myself go....I need to get myself back but with 25lbs to loose it is a long haul.

To help myself feel better about myself and to motivate me to stick to the long haul and am going to concentrate on being "healthy" for the next 14 days and would love some company along the way

I am going to:

Drink 2 ltrs of water a day
No alcohol this will be hard
Moisturise my dry skin daily
Apply cream to my "hooves" twice daily
no junk food,, crisps, chocolate
8 hours sleep a night

Anyone want to join me?

Good tip...scholl make fabulous cream for hard skin, this really , really, really works, after a week your hooves will be soft as a babys bum!!!!! Its about a fiver, you really will not regret it. Been drinking lots of water but in this horrid weather want comfort food in a big way !!

Update: gym yesterday and today and thus lots of water as well. Going to have early night tonight (won't get 8 hours but it's a start). Moisturising at least once a day.

Can I join in please (I know am a bit late!)

I started a similar thing last week on Feb 1, I pledged to give up alcohol and chocolate for a whole month and to cut back on other food related naughties.

I;ve managed 8 days without a glass of wine so far, it hasn;t been easy as I really look forward to my wine at the weekend, and have managed to stay off the chocolate but haven;t done so well on the other things.

Really need to lose quite a bit of wieght as feel ming.

Just bought the Davina DVD so will start doing that.

Also measured my vital statistics which was a bit of a shcck to the system, but I don;t have scales so thought it woudl be a good way to track my progress.

I am still trying to lose weight. I got a link to glamourdiets - there is a free 5 days trial - it's a bit fiddly and not sure will pay to keep it but is good for setting targets

Managed to be really good yesterday foodwise and have been off the booze for a full 11 days (and counting...)

Still here

Been going to the gym and back at work so my water uptake has gone from nil a day to over a litre which is good, also starting the couch potato to 5K over on the Sports and exercise board. My hands are only getting done once a day which is once more than usual!
