I cant seem to find anything! I thought that I would find something but it either looks awful on me or I just dont like it.

So what would you get... tell me what would tempt you and it might stop me from blowing it on the kids (again) or even food!

KristinaM · 24/01/2009 16:43

I struggle to find thinsg i like and i am positively middle aged

theresonlyme · 24/01/2009 16:44

I had the same problem but with £30. Thanks to a MN thread I heard about the £12 jeans. I got a pair of those, a vest top, a small amount of food and something else I can't remember.

Pannacotta · 24/01/2009 16:45

I would buy some nice underwear or socks/PJs/Autograph thermals (much nicer than normal sones but £££). Or some Autograph skincare/make up.
And prob some nice chocs and flowers too, love M&S roses.

PlinkyPonk · 24/01/2009 16:48

What has happened to their classic stuff? I dont want something that performs miracles( ok I do really) but I have only just started spending money on myself and surprise surprise we have to cut back again! So it would be nice not to eat my last(and first) mini splurg!

What about bedding, or homeware.

Penthesileia · 24/01/2009 16:54

Tights! You can never have too many pairs of tights - they do quite nice ones too - patterns, etc.

Otherwise, there is pretty much nothing worth wearing in M&S.

Except knickers, I suppose...

tumtumtetum · 24/01/2009 16:57

Wine

ilikeyoursleeves · 24/01/2009 16:59

80 packets of cheesy curls mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

crokky · 24/01/2009 16:59

If I didn't need anything, I'd sell it on eBay.

Or, if I needed new knickers, I might get a packet of them, or a bra.

Or has anyone got a birthday coming? Get a present for them with it?

I like the tracksuit bottoms in M&S!

Childrens clothes?

Pyjamas?

CioccolataCalda · 24/01/2009 16:59

I have the same problem with a very generous £60 voucher from DH.
They have lovely stuff in mags from M & S but I can't find any of it in our local 'flagship' store!

I did buy a nice linen white smock shirt for £25 just another £35 to go......

wondered about silk thermal undies but too dull!

LIZS · 24/01/2009 17:03

I know . I'm trying to spond a Christmas voucher , want some nice jersey pjs to go with the Per Una bathrobe dh bought me but they all have cropped legs locally.

Pannacotta · 24/01/2009 18:09

Can't you use vouchers on line as well as in sotre?

simpson · 24/01/2009 18:14

I have had £40 worth of M&S vouchers for ages and haven't found anything

BUT am going to check out the £12 jeans mentioned and wine!!

Will be watching this thread for more ideas

WEESLEEKITLauriefairycake · 24/01/2009 18:18

I bought 4 t-shirt bras for 30 quid - super comfy and the only ones I wear

How about some posh pj's and dressing gown - they have some nice Autograph ones online

Some of their online Autograph tops are particularly nice - there were some lovely links last year to tops on here (posted by Cod)

CioccolataCalda · 24/01/2009 19:11

I really want a nice low key everyday dress and thought they would have had one but they seem to be dressing power women and the over 55's these days. hmph

WEESLEEKITLauriefairycake · 24/01/2009 19:49
