sadly, not to star in a period drama or even for bedroom antics...

...had twins 3 months ago, was very, very huge, tummy muscles still over a hands width apart - and now am going to be a bridesmaid in 8 weeks - arghhhh. My tummy is bigger than my hips!!!!

Please recommend...someone said M & S do some body shaper thing but I fear it may be a bit mild for my needs.

I think what you need is a girdle. Get thee to Rigby and Peller, or failing that to a proper old fashioned lingerie shop.

If you fancy a corset, then fairy Gothmother do lovely corsets and have a shop in Spitalfields where they will measure you and advise

thanks...probably a girdle. the fairy gothmother are too nice (and too expensive!) to wear UNDER clothes. and if i wear it over a skirt, i may just upstage the bride ! (bfing boobs - pretty large). will look up wear my nearest bravissimo is...not really something you can order online.

ah, bravissimo only have 5 'basques'. nothing under 'girdle'...a basque isn't gonna be strong enough.
