I have a pair of short jeans I bought in the summer, two black skirts and a brown tweedy skirt, plus some leggings I shouldn't wear in public. A few jumpers and a few tops, couple of t-shirts and nothing to wear!
I am superfat, so don't want to spend much, cos I'll lose some weight as soon as I can leave the house!

How many pairs of trousers/skirts do I need?
What's a reasonable capsule wardrobe for a fat Mum?

dig out a mans shirt, wear it with jeans and a pair of sexy boots/shoes, there you are- something to wear! ta-da !

dsrplus8 · 21/01/2009 15:50

wear man shirt over leggings and assecorise with funky belt to sex it up a bit, large chukie necklace is essential!! bit of lippy and your a godess!. should also work with your skirts, if you choose man-shirt in a neutral colour you can wearit with anything! just remember to unbutton the top few buttons and give a glimps of the fabulous assests you have( not too much, as you dont want to be tarty) Capsual wardrobes are SO in dont you know!

Sounds good. I'll have to buy man shirts though. DH has just gotten meaty enough to go to a Medium.
