Ok, I have been a bit 'brave' in topshop....

I have just bought in the topshop sale a pair of black, high waisted, rather tight jeans. I think that I can 'get away' with them in that i am in my 20s (just) and petite.
BUT, what do I wear with them? I just tried them on with a checked shirt tucked in and I looked like I am going riding . I also tried a long black t shirt which was fine but not the point of high waisted.
Bearing in mind I am usually a jeans, t-shirt and uggs sort of girl, what shall I wear them with? or shall I give up being brave an take them back?

Maybe another type of shirt, one with little capbed sleeves, or those ones with the high neck and nice bow fastening? with a skinny cardy, or fluffy type shrug?

or you could go for a vest or skinny t-shirt with a tux jacket and a scarf (think Kate Moss)

am v jealous. Think they sound gorgeous but alas do not have the figure for them
