Garnier moisturiser?

Has anyone tried either the Pro-X stuff or the lifting one? Need to get a new moisturiser but can't afford to spend "the earth" on it? Any other budget recommendations?

I've just bought the Garnier lifting moisturiser from Boots, only bought it the other day so haven't seen any results yet, but Boots have 1/2 or 1/3 off alot of their beauty products at the mo, so you should find a good moisturiser without having to remortgage the house first

I've been using L'Oreal Revitalift which I think is probably a similar price to the Garnier one. Would definitely recommend. My skin is in lovely condition - have been using it for a month and has definitely done a better job than many of my other mid-range buys.

Having said that if boots have sale, would go for the Protect and Perfect moisturiser.

garnier use the same research as l'oreal (and lancome) so you may as well buy the garnier as it's cheaper

Last year there was a programme on channel 4 studying moisturisers and they tested the most expensive ones alongside the lower end and then a basic pure and simple moisturiser.

They measured the ladies lines and took various scans. Some aged more after the use of the super creams and they proved that a basic moisturiser was just as effective as maybe a £250 Dior cream or even Creme de lar mar (SP?).

I now use a basic Nivia (SP?) moisturiser.

at creams AGEING your face !! Would love to know which ones had that effect so can avoid like the plague! Mother Nature is doing her level best without any extra assistance.

Oh lord! That's not good - I'd also like to know which ones aged the skin more!! Still not been out to buy anything for my face yet and I really need to - I'm using up my samples now!!

Do you use a cream with an SPF in it? I wear makeup every day that has an SPF in it too, I'm wondering if I need a facecream with one in too? [I don't think the Pro-X stuff has an spf in it though(?)]

Oh dear sorry I can't remember - maybe I phrased that wrong I think they had aged during the study rather than the cream causing the ageing.. I am not 100% sure either way this was on tv about a year ago.
