I noticed my boss lookign askance at my plain straight denim skirt today.

Sorry, I did think after I posted but then I sort of expected a response more along the lines of "don't be ridiculous".

I will keep my big trap shut and concentrate on style issues.

I've wondered about a dark denim skirt like the one fimbo linked to for work (hospital doctor), I decided against it but I did notice a colleague wearing something similar next week so I may reconsider.

Perhaps you will have to abandon the denim and opt for a nice cord skirt.

I wear a smart denim skirt from LK Bennett to work. It is a really smart cut and dark denim, nobody has said anything yet.
