Reassurance please?! I'm going to be a bridesmaid in April but I'll have only given birth about 6 weeks before! What to do about Big Leaking Boobs??

Would you still be a bridesmaid? If so what would you do about bras?

It's my SIL's wedding thinking about asking very politely if she wouldn't mind I stand down - not sure I can cope with the pressure of having to look good

Does she have outfits in mind? Could you wear something with proper sleeves rather than straps to contain your hooters? You could pull it off with Spanx and a non-skimpy dress.

I was my both my best friends approx the same amount of time as you TBH it was a bit of nightmare. The first the dress was made and mine had extra wide straps with poppers to attach on to big old ugly feeding bra. We hadn't established bottle feeds so dd screamed for most of the day to be fed and in between pics i had to go and remove whole dress to feed her. 2nd time was a bit more chilled service was later but i look horrendous in the pics. I didn't really enjoy either time but wouldn't have stepped down as we've all been friends since childhood and were all each others bms. I would say if its not really important to you then step down. If you can grin and bare it for friends sake do.

Sorry not very reassuring. I should also add that i seem to gain about 4 stone when pregnant and not lose the bulk till i stop BF as a result i'm never happy with myself pregnant or post birth.

You may find your boobs have settled by then ... mine were not too bad

It was the other end that was the problem as I was still bleeding at six weeks

You definitely need an outfit with good 'coverage' just in case ... spaghetti straps with a nursing bra is not a great look

Hi thanks for all your replies, sorry went out and forgot I'd posted!

Some good advice, I have a feeling it might be a bit of a nightmare! The dresses she has in mind are yellow, chiffon and strapless! I'm already a g cup

Also breastfeeding went really badly last time and I really want to give it my best shot this time.

She's lovely and I'm sure she'll understand and it's not like I've known her my whole life or anything.

Thanks again
