What shoes would you wear with these trousers?

I bought some trousers a bit like these in navy (if you click on the product colours you can see almost exactly how mine look). Mine are from Gap, but the same kind of cut.

The only thing I can think to wear with them is ballet pumps, any bright ideas?

Clearly I am over thinking this - haven't bought anything new for way too long.

Hadn't thought of converse - wanted something casual for daytime wear, with no heels.

I wear converse with trousers like this from Gap (but khakis instead of navy). I love that look - and you can even go quite smartish on top with accessories and it will work fabulously

I have seen the trousers you are talking about in gap and was thinking of getting them myself. I think they would look great with converse trainers.
