Fellow tiny boobers . .

thedogmother · 02/04/2005 20:07

Feeling a bit jealous and left out when reading the big-boobers thread so here's one for us too.

I'm a 36 A/AA

Tiny, have to wear a padded bra to show anything at all. Clothes can look bad because they just hang terribly. Can't wear low cut things cos chest completely flat. Even have to wear padded bikini. V annoying, but can sympathise with those of you who get backache etc due to large breasts.

might be interesting

Oh Snowbell, it's just not fair is it?

Is the link at the bottom any good for you Katemum?

la redoute kate, they start from 28a in some styles

Katemum · 03/04/2005 18:21

Just had a look at la redoute and can only find a 30A, damn!

80sMum · 03/04/2005 19:28

Snowbell, I'm like you. I've been a 32AA/AAA since I stopped breastfeeding (before pg I was 32B and while bfeeding I was 36C!).
I've found it virtually impossible to buy bras that fit. But there are just a few places that cater for tiny boobs. Someone's already given a link to Little Women. The tiny-titted might also like to try Dainty Lady or maybe give Breast Enhancers a go. I haven't tried them myself. Anyone got any? How secure are they?! The trouble with ordinary bras for tiny boobs is that the bras are tiny too and when I'm wearing a jumper I'm as flat as pancake that's just been run over by a steamroller! I've considered surgery many times - even got as far as making some enquiries at clinics several years ago - but decided against because of the risks involved. Sigh.

lou33 · 03/04/2005 20:10

i was looking just before i told you and they had 30b. Do you mean in stock or online?

NomDePlume · 03/04/2005 20:16

Oh goody - a thread for me!! (34) before BF and now 34AA. I lost a cup size for each son so stopped at 2 babies or I would now be concave. I've resorted to padded bras (which slip up over the top of my boobs and those chicken fillets from M&S (those silicone filled gel things) but they make me itch if I wear them for a whole day I think because it's like wearing a plastic bag next to your skin. Anyone else had that problem?

shimmy21 · 03/04/2005 20:30

meant 34B before BF

Katemum · 03/04/2005 20:34

Oh wow, thank you for your help.
I want some of the figleaves ones, they are small and beautiful, just like me

paolosgirl · 03/04/2005 20:40

Oooh, so I'm not alone with my A's T-shirt bras, from the kids section at Asda at £5 a pop do me nicely for day wear, thank you very much. Keep thinking I should buy some nice stuff, but have you noticed there never seems to be any A cups in the style you like??

bee3 · 03/04/2005 20:42

Hurrah! A thread I can relate to. I feel slightly bad about joining as I have actually increased in size since having ds, but considering I was a 32AA before, and am now a 34A, not a vast amount has changed. They are still small boobs (and considerably less perky than before ).I rely on padding.

I once tried to do a proper measurement, as laid down in some magazine (measure around ribcage, then bust , deduct this that and the other to give you cup size etc) I went into the negative, effectively having a concave chest. Never tried that again. And wonderbras were my worst nightmare. Tried on a 32AA (pre-ds) and had to just laugh as my sides were squashed in to the point of asphyxia, but there were still two big flapping, gapping cups with nothing inside them but hot air. Not a mere hint of a cleavage in sight.

Incidentally, can anyone recommend a decent bra, which gives a bit of lift and oomph, but which is comfortable in a size 34A?

Branster · 03/04/2005 20:43

H&M sell As

thedogmother · 03/04/2005 20:54

Me too bee3 with the wonderbra - what a joke.

God it's great to know I'm not alone.

Newbarnsleygirl, you are my twin.
I used to have a very ample bust, which became exceptionally ample when pregnant/bfing dd (my nursing bras were 38F

After ds and feeding him for 2 years, I now have a 34B chest. Actually find it quite liberating after years of too much. I don't always have to wear a bra, I can actually run without feeling uncomfortable (or getting blokes shouting "watch out for black eyes" as I have in the past!)
I also feel more comfortable with clingy tops, not so self conscious.

Long live little boobs, I say

Piggiesmum · 03/04/2005 22:10

bee3 I had the same negative, concave thing too.

The closest I can guestimate is that I'm a 36A. but am yet to find one that fits perfectly. Have tried dfferent sizes too but no luck. Being pg I was really loking forward to having bigger boobs for a while but not much is happening except they feel abit firmer.

Dh says more than a handful is a waste anyway

NomDePlume · 04/04/2005 11:43

Depends on how big your hands are I suppose !

Knickerbox also has a pretty range of A cups, including 36s

Snowbell · 04/04/2005 15:00

80smum, thanks for the link to DaintyLady. They've got a great choice of 34AAAs so I may order some. I've tried Little Women's one bra in 34AAA but it was stuffed with padding and was a hideous shape. I don't really want to look big, just not flat!

hatmum · 04/04/2005 16:10

All 32A and other A cups - try being a D cup but only 30" round - no bras anywhere. (Actually slight fib, John Lewis do them). Bra manufacturers seem to only start at 32 and those who have smaller assume that smaller also means smaller cups - so not true here and I still look flat chested.

thedogmother · 04/04/2005 16:23

An unusual problem there hatmum.

Do you remember the advert "small ones are juicy?"

dh used to say that was me.

thedogmother · 04/04/2005 16:23

alux · 05/04/2005 10:02

hatmum, can't say I know from experience but my uni roommate had 32DDs She is from South Africa and says that out there bra sizes do cater for small rib cages w/ big breasts. Maybe if you have a search you will find somthing?
