£35 needle cord dress from Toast......just say no!! Tinker - are you listening???

I got my Toast order today. Velvet tunic is delicious but the needle cord shirt dress is revolting. Am so disappointed as it looked lovely on the model. It also turned up in a right old state - totally creased and screwed up in the bag so it may have looked so awful because of that . Also, for Grenadine Red, read "burnt orange".

Tinker, you may love it - perhaps its my shape/colouring that made it look so spectacularly vile on me!!

Has gone straight back in the post to the store.

I've noticed these have been coming back into stock and assumed it was because people were returning them - so thanks for the warning, won't bother with one now.

Oh no, I thought it looked quite nice. That tunic is lovely. I've ordered this and this. Feeling a little more doubtful now.

Oh, ha ha! Have just posted on the other thread that I got a wet little email from them saying:

"We do work very hard to acquire as much stock as is needed so that all of our customers will receive their orders, but sometimes last-minute events do conspire against us."

i have the supersoft jersey tunic tatty! in purple. i heart it. and am sure i've worn it to work .

Tatty don't panic. I have ordered many things from Toast and this is the first thing that I have thought "eeeewwww"!!!

I think the items you have ordered will be fine.

Think they just cancelled it for me. But when I checked there were still 12s in stock. Bizarre!
