I used to use Benefit Galactic Shield but can't get it here - it was fab. Any other ideas??

Both MAC and Clinque do a concealer that dries to a powder and lasts all day.

Oh cool - does it help heal zits too?

Clarins used to do a cream that was tinted and helped to heal blemishes, but unbelieveably they stopped making it. They still do a clear 'spot drying out' concoction though. This, left to dry, and then layered with Rimmel Hide the Blemish (cheap but very effective) seems to work.

how dare they discontinue a great product like that, what is that all about???

sigh

i guess i will have the brave the ueber-cheerful twenty-somethings (all with perfect complexions) in my local Boots-equivalent and try to get some advice on my post-pregnancy hormonally-insane skin

I like the rimmel one too. I find it does actually help dry it up and the coverage is ace. I bought it in desperation when rather broke and was really surprised how good it was.

Another vote for Rimmel concealer, does the job and wide range of shades which is good for my yellow olive skin tone.

excellent, thank you - i CAN get Rimmel here

love their eyeliners too
