Christening outfit for baby boy

helenlouisey · 13/01/2009 21:47

Need some advise as to what our little boy should wear for his christening, does anyone have any suggestions? Would prefer something very smart and stylish but not a christening gown. The Christening is at the beginning of march and our little boy will be 5 months old, he was 2 months prem though so will be the size of a 2 / 3 month old. Thanks

I like sailor suits personally, little darlings do a lovely range.

Try Sarah Louise and Abella babywear - sometimes there are some lovely bargains on ebay.

DS had a lovely little smocked suit.

Will try to find some links.

My DS wore a Christening gown which was lent by a very kind friend. He also had the shawl my brothers and I were christened in.

If that kind friend hadn't offered we were going to get him a sailor suit.
