I signed up with that but couldn't be faffed. Ebay is great for brands.

Sycamoretree · 11/01/2009 22:38

Yes, I got an incredible deal on some really pricey skincare called KORNER which I lust after but an only afford when other people treat me for birthday.

Got a great Ghost shirt and also some Myla underwear. I have got 75 quid in free vouchers because 3 friends have bought stuff after I recommended them. You can spend those vouchers all together, so I bought 80 quids worth of stuff for only a fiver - result!

Also got my sis and SIL Lola Rose pendants for xmas at less than half price.

My only issue with it is how long it takes for delivery. 4 weeks sometimes - but they always say at point of sale how long it will take max.

brimfull · 11/01/2009 23:32

ooh sounds good

OP posts:
cornsilk · 11/01/2009 23:40

Right - I thought I'd already registered but it must be a different site, so I'll register with them as well. If ggirl or sycamore tree want to recommend me and get the voucher that's fine - CAT me and I'll give you my email. Otherwise I'll just join anyway, as they're letting folk join without a recommendation at the moment.

brimfull · 11/01/2009 23:48

I have cat'd you cornsilk

anyone else want me to recommend them ??

OP posts:
cornsilk · 11/01/2009 23:54

Okeydoke ggirl - it's not come through yet, may have to wait till tomorrow to sort it out.

charlotteolivia · 12/01/2009 00:08

so does that mean you can't redeem them on bargains you find?

cornsilk · 12/01/2009 00:09

I think if you recommend someone you can spend them on the website. The wine vouchers (I think) are for people who are joining without a recommendation.

brimfull · 12/01/2009 00:11

I read this 'Earn a £25 voucher for every friend you introduce to BrandAlley!
It couldn't be any easier. Simply enter your friend(s)
email address in the fields below and we will invite them
to join BrandAlley.
When your friend(s) make their first purchase you will
automatically receive a £25 online voucher. You can see all of your
discount voucher codes at any time by visiting 'My account'.
The more friends you invite, the more you'll be able to spend on your
new wardrobe.

tattycoram · 12/01/2009 07:21

Hallo, again ggirl and sycamoretree, if you want to cat me am happy to give you my email address so you can get the voucher. Am going to sign up anyway.

brimfull · 12/01/2009 09:23

thanks tatty-have cat'd you

OP posts:
Sycamoretree · 12/01/2009 14:12

Hi Ladies,

The £25 voucher is only given to you once someone who you have recommended actually MAKES a purchase and once they have RECEIVED that purchase, so it took about 5 weeks for mine to all come through.

I can confirm I was able to spent my vouchers all together on one order, but just had to pay the postage, which was about £6 I think.

You don't need a recommendation to join, anyone can join (they want the business!) but it just means if any of you were to buy something after a mate had recommended you then the mate would get the vouchers that can be redeemed off ANYTHING on sale on the site.

I don't know about the wine vouchers, I guess that must be a different offer.

xxx

GGGirl - don't worry, Korner is VERY obscure and I only came across it after someone did my wedding make up and suggested their eye cream. Myla is gorgeous though, but way too expensive normally .

brimfull · 12/01/2009 14:36

thanks tatty,I have recommended you.

sycamore-will keep an eye out for those brands, thanks

fyi for those ladies interested in joining vente-privee.com, feel free to use my email address as your referrer [email protected] (yes, you have to be referred to join)
if you join and buy something, i get a £5 coupon. kinda like brandalley. so the more people are referred, the more vouchers you get. yay!

Linwin · 03/02/2009 22:35

Honestly no. I was looking on there for dresses the other day and their stock looked decidedly c 1999

But good luck if you have the patience to sift through as there were some DvF dresses at about 75% off

I have never seen anything I have even considered buying on BrandAlley. I've been signed up for about 4 months. I find the numerous emails quite tiresome.
