Its very pretty.

pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 20:49

Hi songbirdie!

I would put these with that dress in white leather with white tights and a white cardigan over it.

Jewelsandgems · 10/01/2009 20:49

I would say not 5 inch heels

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 20:54

pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 21:07

You need to get your DD a pair of gold shoes, DD2
has pale gold mary janes and they go with everything.

I am feeling great, DH and girls good too. How are the Songbirds?

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 21:15

where shall i go to get some mary janes?

we are good too thanks.
dd is asleep dh is watching some crap on the box.
we where planing on taking dd to soft play tomorrow but we need to go food shopping.
how are things with the house, or would you prefer not to talk about that?
think i might have a lush bath soon

Are there any independent shoe shops near you (not Clarks etc) which sell European shoes? I find them more expensive but nicer than Clarks.

DD2 just crying, DH gone up to her, she has a cold and hasn't barely eaten for 2 days, I have told him to give her some milk. I am lying on sofa with laptop like a beached whale wondering what crap I can eat!

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 21:24

well i was in one today, but it was so busy i couldn't see.
will go back someweek day.

poor lil dd2.
is dd1 excited about the new baby?
have you had any twinges yet?
i can't wait to hear the news then the new baby arrives.
please do a live labour thread

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 21:28

LOL at me doing a live labour thread, nobody knows who I am on here, I don't post enough!

No twinges yet, DD1 not particularly bothered with babies tbh. She likes older children. I need to adopt a 15 year old for her!

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 21:34

thats what dd is like she loves older kids but younger ones are boring

i post quite a bit and noone know me either.
i'd love to be one your live birth thread though.
when i was in john lewis today i saw a tiny baby in one of those swings, we had one but it was a shit hand me down, and i did think, oh i we EVER had another baby i'd buy a decent swing and i did liek the look of some if the nursery stuff in there.

my dn has a yonger sister, dn is very good with her almost too good as its easy to forget dn is just a child herself too iyswim as shes often looking after her little sis

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 21:39

DD2 is so sweet as well, I think that is what puts DD1 off her as everyone coos over DD2! Jealousy. She kissed my bump before though which is a first! She best get used to having youngsters around her though, 2 little sisters will not impress her whatsoever!

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 21:43

lol how oldis dd1 now? 6?or 7?

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 21:44

She is 6. Going on 66.

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 21:47

lol

do you think i should let dd carry on hving a fringe or start to grow it out? while her hair is still shortish?
ifso how would i do it ?clip it to one side?

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 21:57

Grow it out probably. I will start clipping DD2's back soon. It stops it looking mulletish as well.

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 22:44

yeah but how will you clip it back? clip the fringe to the side?

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 22:54

Yep, clip it to the side! How else would you do it?!

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 22:58

i dunno aa hair band!
don't you think it looks a bit side parting boffy though?
lol

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 22:59

No, I love a little parting with a clip on a toddler, looks really sweet. Hairband for an older child imo.

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 23:00

lol i was only kidding about the hair band
know what sort of clips do you use?
has dd2 had her hair cut at all yet?

OP posts:
pgwithnumber3 · 10/01/2009 23:15

DD2;s hair not long enough for a clip yet. She has a trim every few weeks. Has your DD?

lovelysongbirdie · 10/01/2009 23:19

yea by toni and songbird
i've only slightly trimmed the fringe twice.
needs doing again so i either need to clip or trim.
but she has got some very short bits.
