Ugg cardy boots - sizing?

FattipuffsandThinnifers · 10/01/2009 18:34

Can anyone advise on sizing for Ugg cardy boots? I'm normally a UK size 4 (37) but in some Ugg styles take a 5 as they're often quite tight. I'm looking at the Cardy boots (here but can only find them online so can't try them on.

Has anyone got them? Do they come up smaller than other shoes, like the rest of Uggs, or as normal? Should I get my normal size or a size up?

TIA!

check the for sale threads as someone there was selling a pair..iir she was selling as they bigger than her usual size so I guess they are a larger fitting...

don't quote me though and just have a mooch on fs threads under adult clothing. hth x

I can't get my head round these at all. A girl at work was wearing them the other week and they really do look like she's made them herself. sorry - that's no help at all, and clearly unwelcome.

life would be boring I guess if we all liked the same thing

very true. and very gracious of you to say so when I was so rude

To many arguments on mn these days...lifes to short. We need to embrace each other .

Ahem... girls, girls, back to the subject in question please!

Y'know, I hated uggs for ages but what with the recent cold weather I got chilblains so need some warm, comfy boots, and actually trying some on I was slightly converted. And the cardy ones are rather less slipper/snowboot-like than the others.

Anyway, will check the for sale section, thanks.

fattip&t, we weren't arguing .

I have a pair of the grey ones and they came up the same size as my regular uggs, there isn't any fur lining in them apart from on the sole though so they will probably feel less tight, that said I have found that uggs tend to stretch out after a while as the fur gets squashed...
Oh and I'm a size 4 and the size 4 (or size 6 i you get them from the US online) fit me just nicely!

widgypog · 11/01/2009 11:09

I think 'real uggs ' are big but 'fake ' are small.
I am size 4 and have classic real uggs in 4 and they are perfect. I have tried on tescos before and they are small hth!!

i spent weeks looking for some suitable boots, am also a chilblain sufferer, was thinking i may have to go for something like uggs, albeit, not ideal as not an ugg fan in the slightest, they just fitted the bill.

in the end, went for these from clarks, they are fur lined and so far, they are brill. really comfy and warm, after having chilblains on all my toes last winter, this year, i have none! they are sold out on line, but i've seen them in store in the sale.

Thanks, v helpful. Though everywhere seems to have sold out anyway so might all be academic anyway!
