Is there such a thing as a really warm jumper that isn't scratchy or hideous?

Does it exist? If so, where?

What about a fleece?

nkf · 05/01/2009 20:06

Not sure about a fleece. I wanted something a bit less sporty.

Long or waist length?

nkf · 05/01/2009 20:07

Long?

I have just bought a lovely soft long jumper (in pale turquoise but the do grey, black etc.) from Tescos. Almost down to my knees, big roll neck and button detail on sides.

I love it!

Oooh. Sounds nice. What's it made of?

go cheap. Manmade fibres don't scratch. all my woollens are gathering moths whilst I wrap up in Primark and Tesco shite. and they wash better too....

Chunky knit
85% Acrylic
15% Wool

Not to everyone's taste (not Cashmere or the like). However, even i couldn't kill it in the wash .

Usually you need natural fibres for it to be really warm. Not necessarily 100% but a good amount. That's what I find anyway. Maybe I should try something different.

I wear cardigans instead of jumpers - could be an option?
