What colour tights/boots would you wear with a navy skirt?

[Hopefully]

I am currently going for navy tights and dark tan boots a bit like this but fractionally lighter.

I now want to buy another navy skirt, and I'm wondering whether I should buy some different boots that will match a bit better.

Both current and potential skirt are fairly casual, to be worn with something like a vest and cardigan or a long sleeved top.

Cream/brown fishnets/patterned tights, maybe?

Grey tights look divine with most things (better than black sometimes)

I think dark chocolate shiny leather boots would look nice with Navy skirt. Lighter tan boots (I think) look nicer with jeans.

Black boots & opaque black tights

Taupe is nice with navy, I think. It goes with everything.
(Taupe as in a warm, almost brown, shade of grey)

I think I will have to wear my skirt and my tragically worn out tan boots to the shop and try on various tight and boot combinations for hours! Thanks for the ideas, especially taupe, I can imagine that being nice...
