knee length boots -baggy at the top

I have just bought some knee length boots for work from Clarks b/c they are smart and were cheap in sale but they gape at the top and I am wondering whether they will look funny with knee length/just below knee length skirts or will no-one but me notice? What do you think? Can anyone recommend boots that fit calves at top?

Ooh I think you're lucky. As the 'proud' owner of -ahem- chunky calves I always have trouble finding boots that will actually do up over them. But there are companies (sorry don't know their names) that do boots with different calf fittings. Bit dear though, somewhere around £100. I don't think anyone would notice a bit of a gape. Maybe thicker tights would help take up some of the slack? Or you could try the stretchy type of boot. Although they sag after a while, admittedly.

ahhhh fruitcorner ... you must have missed all of my posts on boots... I've had the same dilema as you, and can find boots to wear with jeans tucked in but not a skirt.. do you have skinny slender legs by any chance
I've found duo boots are apparently the answer...

I fancy these myself
or even these
