I want some bedding but 10 or 15% is hardly sale of the century is it ? I was expecting a decent discount what with it being sale season AND the dreaded credit crunch. Harrumph.

Sorry, honestfriend. Sounds like I am pouring cold water. I had a look at the site last night. What I think is that they can do better than that in these times. Am withholding my cash for now.

no agreed- I wanted a nightie and it is not even showing- yesterday they were out of stock in my size/colour, but they had another colour- today not there at all, not even in non-sale stuff- unless website is cocked up.

agreed that 20% of linen etc is not good.

Didn't White Company have a 20% off EVERYTHING and free p&p very recently? If so, I don't see how they can justify calling this an 'End of Season Sale' that gives as little as 10% off and free p&p Only If you spend more than £50.

Yes they did as I used the offer! You also get a 15% discount if you are a VIP customer, most of the year anyway, and free P&P.

They are owned by the same people as Charles Twyford ( men's stuff) hubbie and wife team, and their business is worth £millions- hardly surprising!

honestfriend, I trust they did well in the 20% sale. Otherwise, if they are still holding a lot of stock, it would make sense to really slash now to shift it (as a lot of big retailers are poised to do from today) and grab those spare post-christmas £££ before the other retailers do. Can't have your head in the clouds in these times.
