Dress - nice or a big no?

Opinions on this Principles dress please - esp if you have seen or tried it on as I'm not near a shop to try on! Just looking for a LBD that I can wear a lot - without making me look like a sack of spuds! Is this one a tad frumpy or fab?

Hmm not sure - looks like it could be fab if you have long legs and no boobs. Otherwise it might be a bit frumpy.

it has the potential to be glorious or frumpy, depends really.. with some excellent shoes could be brilliant

I think it would look fab on a stick person especially with coloured opaques.

Don't do it if you have a large chest.
Would look OK if you were tallish or have long legs, otherwise I'd say no.
May look better with a belt?

I think, the same is called 'Ovoid' sort of sums it up, for me anyway. Sorry.

I like it. Statement (high) shoes, opaque tights = winner!

I tried it on and it made me look lumpy - the sleeves were just a tad too billowy, and it wasn't fitted close enough at the waist. I'm not saying you would look lumpy though !

if you are thin with long legs would look fab with purple opaque tights and patents chunky high heels.
I am not blessed in such a way myself so would look like grotbags if i wore it!

I like it, would be tempted to try it on if I had any money left over because it looks like it might hide my tummy! I am tall...tempting.
