Hi, could anyone recommend a good product for fine lines around your mouth? I'm afraid I've noticed the first signs of ageing (!) and wondered if any of you had used a product that actually works!! I am in my early forties by the way.... thanks very much.... Also, has anyone out there had their eyelashes tinted? Would you recommend it? Mine are black but are so fine.... Thanks again!

The ROC anti aging range is what a dermatologist friend recommends to all her patients, it contains the highest strength of retinol available in a non-prescription product, which is a key ingredient for fighting wrinkles. She uses it, and I gave up my estee lauder habit for ROC and my skin is looking pretty good these days

I'm sure I saw a ROC starter kit in boots the other day, in their beauty gifts section, it seemed really good value for day and night moisturisers and eye cream. That might be a good way to try it out and see if you like it.

Hi, Macherie, great advice, thanks very much. I will go into Boots this week and look for the ROC products, they sound just what I need! Thanks again, Zoopas

Ooh, I am pinching that tip on ROC, macherie.

Zoopas, I have had my eyelashes tinted in the past in order to avoid wearing mascara on my bottom lashes. I wouldn't say that tinting gives more volume in my experience, so a good mascara might be a better option.

i've been using a dermalogica serum for eye and mouth areas which feels lovely, it's called multivitamin power lift or firm, can't remember. i should work for them as i'm always recommending their stuff.

however, i was watching a report on skincare recently and the presenter said very few expensive creams do anything for your skin. the only two products that he said were scientifically proven to work were roc and protect and perfect (boots).
