Super soft cotton white t-shirt wanted!

I wear a lot of little cardigans at this time of year, and I want to wear white t-shirts under them for layering, so that if I get too hot I can take the cardi off.

The t-shirt needs to be:

Made of cotton.

Soft to the touch.

Thin, but not totally see through.

Long enough to cover muffin spillage over jeans if I lean over or reach in any direction.

Sleeveless, short sleeved or long sleeved, I like all styles.

I have bought one from White Stuff which I really like but it cost £25 so not ideal for buying up a nice stockpile. I was hoping to pay less than a tenner each.

Any ideas?

i don't think you can beat White Stuff for softness.

Maybe buy 2 more, and do what my Mum said for baby vests - one on, one in the wash, one drying.

Have you tried Kew. I think their t-shirts are about £16 - more than you wanted to spend but v.similar to White Stuff in style.

oh and their winter sales starts today - up to 40% off

Oooh Kew - there's a thought.

I'd love 3 of the White Stuff ones but best wait for the sale I think.

Thanks ladies, have a lovely weekend x
