Please advise me on some good accessories to stop me looking like a waitress tomorrow night...

Four months post baby and still none of my clothes fit.

I've got a xmas night out tomorrow and the only things that look semi-decent are a smart pair of wide-leg black gap trousers and a white top with buttons down the front that ties just underneath the boobs and skims the tummy.

I normally steer clear of this kind of black and white combo as I fear it is a bit waitressy. However, nothing else fits and I can't afford anything new.

I have tons of accessories though - what would glam this up a bit? Was thinknig of black heels and black/diamante shimmery necklace thing.

I do have a v nice pair of dusky gold heels but not sure they'd go?

Definately stick to black heels. One colour, in trousers and shoes slims the legs, so I'm told.

I have the same problem with weight retention post DS2, am very cross with myself that I've not been able to lose it. But hey ho, there is January!

What's your hair like?

Is it possible to be quite minimalist neck down (just pearls with shirt or something) and the really go overboard with you hair (lots of diamante clips and an up-do)?

Could you tart it up with high waisted belt and bling in a diff colour - red? Turquoise?

Or a corsage/big flower pin? Brooch?

This with these for example?
