So, we get the US cast offs - nice! Despite this, I was planning to order some items in the sale for Xmas presents. If I ordered first thing on Friday (am I right about the sale starting then?)would things be likely to arrive before 20th December when I am due to see proposed recipient?Boden frequenters, I need your help on this one.

boden deliveries are hit and miss...depends if its royal mail or parcelnet they use for your package. something finally arrived today that i ordered in nov. (royal mail) and had something arrive two days later (royal mail) that was ordered last week

is it true to say that orders on a friday wont be processed anyway until monday?

I think most orders arrived quite quickly last year.

I ordered something last Sunday which eventually arrived yesterday (royal mail) I was a bit GRRR because I wanted to wear it to a party on Saturday. But it was freepost so that probably explains it.

Orders should come in time especially if item is definately in stock.

Does the sale start on Friday then?

We are thinking so at the moment. The site usually goes down for a while just before it starts. But I have also heard rumours of the 14th but that is Sunday and the sale has never been on a Sunday but I guess there is a first time for everything.

My sil went to the boden sale in London on Saturday, and said that the queue to pay was over an hour long .

So I shall be rushing home from the school run (or even, shock, getting up early) to nab some johnnie bargains on Friday.
