Has anyone else seen people wearing the same clothes as them on tv and thought, yuck!!!

Have in the past seen Sharon and Zoe in Eastenders wearing things that I have owned and I have thought they looked bloody awful.

Just seen a woman on Deal or No Deal wearing a top that I have, and have liked, but seeing it today, I don't think I have ever seen a more drab and revolting piece of clothing.

I have been living a lie!!!

Ooh yes, I had a lovely cardigan from Jigsaw which I thought was really cool and boho and then I saw blardy Little Mo from EastEnders wearing it while doing the cleaning in the Vic.

yes, I had a dress from monsoon that i really liked but then saw it on a not-particularly-appealing character in some drama or other and went off it

I have also seen a very similar print used as wallpaper in a pub so that finished me off really

Oh Puppy. I bet that put you off for life. But - as if (a) Little Mo would have shopped at Jigsaw's Walford branch and (b) if she did, would have done cleaning in it!

I once (very sad I know) bought some earrings and a necklace Ruby in EE was wearing. I had seen them in Accessorize and hmm'd and haa'd, but they looked really good on her so I went for it.

I went out once and really made an effort.

that night I saw LULU on TV wearing the exact same weird ensemble. (mine was minus the botox and fillers.

Shudder.

I keep seeing people in Hollyoaks wearing the same stuff as me, sadly not all the nice outfits but the cheapo Primark bits! I had the same coat as the Tina McQueen and the same pj's as Jackie McQueen and the same knitted dress as Steph. Nice!

DH and I went shopping last winter and got him a gorgeous coat from Debenhams. The next day Ian Beale was wearing the exact same one!!!!

i had me eye on a top for ages. was going to get it atthe weekend.

saw that rather portly lady from eastenders on the front of some Tv mag with it on.

i decided against the purchase.

you laydeez are too downmarket..... i on the other hand saw kirstie allsop (?sp?) wearing my jaeger dress on cooking with gordon (the cheating git) ramsay.... she looked luverly......

Never seen anyone actually wear my clothes, but someone threw away a jumper the same as my favourite one on the instructions of Trinny and Susannah once.

We had the same cups as Ken Barlow. We also have the same kitchen as The Queen Vic ( Was in when we brought the house).

A midwife i saw briefly when pg with ds1 wore a top that i had - i can't bring myself to wear it again! She was in her 60's and it didn't look as great as i had thought it did.
Also, it was a foolhardy brave purchase at the time anyway, still haven't got rid of it as i feel it's a waste...must pass it on to charity tomorrow!
