wet look leggings?

Maybe teamed with a lightweight, slim-fitting, long-ish white cotton shirt, wide belt and flat boots?

Love them.

Unless you will be wearing them with a chainmail mankini type top and big creole earrings and underwear that makes you look like a side of beef with the string on it.

It's not like you're getting some £££££ designer ones that'll look naff next year is it.

LOVE 'EM!

this thread making me want to buy some.

you bunch of miserable old moos!

boocha · 08/12/2008 13:46

Ive just bought a a pair of these and Im 36 got some killer heels to go with them, now all I need is a top/dress to cover bum/hips etc.
Am 5ft10 and a size 12, I love them but have to find my bottle to actually wear them!
When I showed them to dh and dc they laughed for about half an hour, but they do look better on!

Go for it!

FunnyLittleFrog · 08/12/2008 17:18

Um...

NO.

MadamAnt · 08/12/2008 19:53

Thanks all! Nice to see a good mixed response

Didn't have time to get any at the weekend, but I will definitely be buying some soon. If they suit me, I will indeed be wearing them at toddler group / on the school run.

boocha - what sort of top/dress are you going to go for?

OP posts:
boocha · 08/12/2008 20:02

Not sure what top yet, its for a night out so needs to be a bit glam, I think its going to be quite hard to find a top/dress the right shape and length.
I quite like the bat wing style dresses but realise this could possibly be a fashion crime too far?!
What about you?

Lizzylou · 08/12/2008 20:04

Oh I love them.
On other, gazelle-legged ladies they look fab
If they suit you , do it, I would (but my thighs would look even morehuuuuge in them)

zenandtheartofbaking · 08/12/2008 20:06

I reckon you'll look fab.

lou33 · 08/12/2008 20:19

i havent seen one person that have carried them off yet, they seem to make even the most slender people look huge

WhileShosheWatchedHerFlocks · 08/12/2008 20:29

I wore them the first time round, in my 20's.

I was only 5ft1inch, but size 6/8 and fragile looking like Kylie.

Dont think I will be this time, I'm now almost 50, still 5ft1inch, but size 20 and look like Dawn French

hf128219 · 08/12/2008 20:36

Russell Brand has been sporting them of late - says it all really

Salleroo · 08/12/2008 21:13

Love them, Ive got great legs and they looked a bit crap on me . I'd try them on in American Apareil (sp?) too though. Their leggings are fab, never sag at the knee and they have wet look in loads of colours and even snake skin style.

The gold painted jeans may just have to be invested in.

Only as part of a superhero costume.
