"Wench" style nightdress - ideas?

I'm 32 weeks pg and am looking for a long-sleeved cotton nightdress that will accommodate the bump (I'm a size 14 usually), thus keeping me warm but also has a scoop meck to reveal a bit of cleavage and thus allow bf and also keep dh interested (as these poor men seem to need their visual stimulation). I'm thinking of something that the saucy wenches on "The Tudors" might wear as night attire. Any suggestions?

neck obviously, I don't think I have a "meck"

There's this but I don't know if it would accomodate your bump!

MrsSeanBean · 06/12/2008 12:36

Er, I was going to say Ann Summers until I read about the bump, sorry...

You could try searching for genuine vintage on ebay?

downbutnotout · 06/12/2008 13:35

These are deifntely the right ball park thanks, but was thinking of more of a scoop neck, ideally with a drawstring. Will check out ebay also...

I know this is madly expensive, but is this more the thing?

babydoll nightie

katch · 06/12/2008 20:42

Watching this with interest as I often fantasise about this exact nightie - drawstring neck & little puffed sleeves ( a corset over the top would be a bonus!)

georgimama · 06/12/2008 20:43

How on earth is she going to get the bump in that Jewels??

No, she means more this sort of thing

Jewelsandgems · 06/12/2008 20:50

LOVL georgiamummy yes I know it is scanty but there seems quite alot of gathering going on under the bust...thought it may accommodate bump???!! Did see your link and think "aaaah....now I understand...."

downbutnotout · 06/12/2008 21:23

YES! That's exactly what I mean, georgimama. Enough camouflage (and warmth) for my bulging areas, yet also still saucy enough for dh.

how about any of these?

MadamAnt · 06/12/2008 21:29

maybe this one?

But the way, these sort of nighties are mostly lovely to wear, BUT if you have a bumb and are finding it hard to turn over, they can impede you further. You can get a bit tangled ijn them if they;re too flouncy.

MadamAnt · 06/12/2008 21:31

And it can be really annoying if your DH lies on it, and you;re wedged up against him unable to free yourself.

CoolYourJets · 07/12/2008 16:32

not uk though

CoolYourJets · 07/12/2008 16:44

maybe/

downbutnotout · 07/12/2008 21:25

Now we're talking, Jets - this is definitely much more what I was thinking. Will bear in mind the bunching up issue, though.
