Here it is: Jigsaw Toscana Sheepskin Coat

Ideally I'd want it in brown as well, but will be open to all suggestions so long as they're not as jaw droppingly expensive as that one!

so far quick seach found these sites

still quite pricey

no joy on m&s or debenhams.. there is a quite pricy one on john lewis.

moshie · 03/12/2008 19:11

Bit cheaper but still expensive here

blametheparents · 03/12/2008 19:13

Whoa - I read it as £95 which I thought was pretty reasonable for a sheepskin coat from Jigsaw! But £965 - ouch
Wait for the sale, though even at 70% off it would be more than I have ever paid for a coat.

Pennies · 03/12/2008 19:18

HIP34 - that's a great site, thank you. Prices are still a bit tho aren't they!

Pennies · 03/12/2008 19:38

Thanks faustina - I'll keep an eye out but still 675notes for something that isn't quite the right colour does still make the eyes water a little bit!

Weird website, but cheaper!

sheepskin.designerleathercraft.co.uk/html/merino_sheepskin_coats_jackets.html

Pennies · 03/12/2008 19:40

missblythe - yes, that's the one moshie linked to. It's still rather too expensive though, sadly. Was thinking more along the £250 mark at an absolute push!

I'm really nit sure about sheepskin coats

I think you'd wear it a lot less than you imagine

Pennies · 03/12/2008 19:42

god, yes v. weird website. Esp the red coat - it looks like the sheep bled all over itself!

I have 2 vintage sheepskin coats, they are soooooooooooo warm, I wear mine loads, but I do walk alot.

Pennies · 03/12/2008 19:43

Ronaldinhio - I have already got one. I bought it years ago before I had children and I've worn it every winter. It's knackered now though and needs replacing.

I always like the idea of them but then baulk at the price and bulk/weight etc of them in the flesh (sorry about that picture)

missblythe · 03/12/2008 19:46

Pennies · 03/12/2008 19:47

No. Got done over once on ebay - would never ever do it again. Nice idea though, so thanks for looking.

??

Ronaldinhio · 03/12/2008 19:49

bizarrly it might be worth the wait for the crimbo sales in the large department stores

they had some really fab sheerling coats (same thing as far as I could tell) last year for £500 that had previously been 2k

v glam in grey and cream
