Anyone have dd this age? What are they 'in' to? Any suggestions on what would go down well for Christmas pressie appreciated. Around £10. TIA.

I'll kick off with a contentious suggestion:
Make-up - she'll love it - and you, and her mother will hate it - and you. Something like Lancome Juicy tubes is pretty safe.
Music - Choose something that you think will broaden her musical horizons; either something "cool" or something classical. She may not love it immediately but because someone grown-up gave it to her, recognising the embryonic grown-up in her, she'll play it and think about it.

I second make-up, though I would go for more and cheap rather than less and expensive (eg Lancôme).

Or tights?

My dd is 11 - Juicy Tubes would be totally wasted on her; although if anybody bought them I'd be tempted to steal them for myself! I would be shocked tbh if anybody bought an 11 year old make-up - and she would be bemused.

Scarf and gloves are a good suggestion. She would also like quirky socks, eg: the ones from Top Shop, or PJs or a night dress. Clothes are risky I think, as so dependent on personal taste.
