ways to rid yourself of a fringe while still having a fringe - please.

I have tried a bandana - looked like a pirate

I have tried a headband - a little too 80's royal

Have tried a quiff - little too rockabilly

Kirby grips? Or is that too seventies?

I grew my fringe out last year and clipping it to the side with funky hairclips is the way to go - try Accessorize.

seventies or not, I use fabby little slide thingys. Some with sparkly bits on the end. Ner.
Otherwise some super glue strong styling stuff when my hair's wet, and put it where i want it before blow-drying
Am at the too-long-fringe stage where it is in my eyes. Then I will have another hissy fit and get it cut. Ah well.

have you tried those hairbands that are thin elastic ?

The pirate thing unfortunately happened the day I wore calf length black trousers and striped top - to work!!!

I have kirby grips but my fringe is very thich and blunt so stray bits keep poking out, plus it just ends ip as a quiff.

ggirl - I have a hairband thing which is ok but wonder if I should back comb the rest of my hair to get an Audrey kind of look.

My OH has made me smile. I complain about my forehead all the time and use that as an excuse for having a fringe but he can't see why I have a problem.
