went to London store yesterday to try and find a low heeled pair that will revolutionise my wardrobe

they are all dull
don't come up high enough on my leg so cut off at the fattest part...deeply unflattering

the only 2 pairs that were long enough were just wrong

where else can I find decent wide fitting boots????

Try TK Maxx.

TheMadHouse · 17/11/2008 12:01

Clarks do some of theres in a wide fitting too now.

TheMadHouse · 17/11/2008 12:02

Saying that I am currently sitting in some I got from Evans in the sale - leather £20

tonton · 17/11/2008 12:03

they aren't the world's funky-est designs that's for sure.

There is this one but haven't used them:

buckles and bows

sugarplumfairy · 17/11/2008 12:05

I have the same problem and have got some high heeled boots at Jones the Bootmakers this year that fitted. They had a good selection of low heels as well. I couldn't get the nice pair of wedge boots on though. Have v. wide calves!

lulumama · 17/11/2008 12:06

simply be do a variety of width fittings

Winetimeisfinetime · 17/11/2008 12:12

Try emotion They also often have special promotions where things are half price or less.

ohdearwhatamess · 17/11/2008 12:16

I have wide feet since having ds2 and struggle to find shoes that fit. Will watch this with interest for ideas.

Not keen on the Duo range at all.

Bought some ankle boots from emotion a few weeks ago. They fit fine but the quality isn't that great, imho.

JackieNo · 17/11/2008 12:22

Also try Plus in Boots.

Winetimeisfinetime · 17/11/2008 12:27

Most of the things I have had from Emotion have been good, but agree ohdear, that a couple of pairs of ankle boots haven't been of the greatest quality.
Never had a problem with the long boots though . I do only ever buy when they are on offer at half price or less so they have still always been good value for money.

brimfull · 17/11/2008 12:38

thnaks for the suggestions

emotion seem to only do high heels

plus in boots have a pair that may be good but out of stock in my size ..aargh

buckles and bows-also only high heels or really dowdy flat ones

liposuction of the calves ????
