I need a gorgeous maternity dress to wear to a winter wedding, any ideas?

I really like this one here but it seems to only be available in black and I'd prefer a little bit of colour.

Shoes also needed. I'm thinking shoe-boots with thick tights.

Any ideas? I'll be about 6 months, so bumpy but not a whale (she hopes) and I want to look fabulous.

Thank you!

Have you tried isabella oliver? They've got a sale on.

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:14

I have but nothing grabbed me - also still a bit on the pricey side, I'd rather not spend more than £50 if I can help it (not including shoes)

Have you looked at the new range at asos.com?

nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:15

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:18

I didn't know Asos did maternity clothes, ooh!

Not quite NP, I think I quite like the idea of something that comes in under the bump IYSWIM

H&M do maternity too - i had a dress from there that i wore to death

Pinkjenny · 11/11/2008 16:21

I think the asos range is lovely. I want to be pregnant again to wear some of it!

nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:22

this would come in under bump

samsonara · 11/11/2008 16:22

I do like the second one nailpolish. How about this one from Dorothy Perkins here also available in teal or black

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:23

No H&M near me - are they online yet bacause they would be perfect too?

The asos range is gorgeous, I've got a horrible feeling I'm going to end up buying some "bits and pieces" from it! Argh!

wow this is gorgeous! but not under the bump

and its black

nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:24

nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:25

h&m not onlione

lara31 · 11/11/2008 16:27

Isabella Oliver or ASOS.COM have launched a maternity section!

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:28

I didn't think so

Lots of options there. I think I'd like something quite fitted - I'm tall so I'm hoping I'll be able to carry this off

That off the shoulder one is amazing... but black!

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:30

This would be a bit much wouldn't it? And it doesn't come in under bump

nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:31

i wore a black dress to a wedding once
i wore yellow shoes and bag to jazz it up

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:39

OP posts:
nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:40

Bluebutterfly · 11/11/2008 16:42

youknownothingofthecrunch · 11/11/2008 16:42

You'd probably need to try on the pink one as if it sits right it will be ok, otherwise it may look like you are trying to upstage the bride with your pregnancy boobs {wink]

nailpolish · 11/11/2008 16:50

yes red shoes
why not
taa daa
