I'm scared to wear the dress/thick tights/boots look - are the tights really thick?

I've got a long ethnicy type top - but not sure if long enough to get away with this look. Should I go for leggings rather than thick tights? Am size 16/18 and almost 6 feet - so have not had much success with tights. Too short in the crotch and they get sretched so much with fat legs that they might not stay thick. iykwim.

And where can I find leggings?

I think Leggings would give you more coverage,ifyswim.
Plenty of black ones around,New Look,Marks,Primark.
Am on the hunt for brown ones myself,but cant find any!

Try Tescos Tall and Fuller Figure size tights. They're too big for me and I'm 5 foot 8 and a size 22.

You need Levante tights - they come in extra tall and are great. Tall girls have a selection of tights and leggings in extra tall too.

I have Long Tall Sally leggings which are good and not so thick that they look bulkier than tights - with boots I like socks anyway

I would say yes, but then I think what looks good bears more relation to your body shape than your age.

I wore Evans footless tights when I was pg earlier this year. I bought a size 18 for a size 14+bump and the thickness was fine, didn't stretch out too much at all. I am only 5'8" though.
