Am a size 18 with big boobs and short stumpy legs. Picture on profile but only of my face so probably not much use.

I thought about getting this as I tried it on the other week

Don't buy a lot from next so am clueless. Need some casual stuff, perhaps winter coat or boots but I am not sure my fat little legs will get in them.

down to £100 as dd has seen a jacket she wants and a tracksuit for school.

I like the cardi, though it's polyester and if your classroom is anything like mine that could lead to uncomfortable hotness!

I think boots are a good thing to go for and if I remember correctly, Next ones come up pretty wide: I have the opposite problem and they were all too wide for me.I quite like these on the right

God no my classroom is freezing I teach in a portacabin with no heating average temperature last week of term was 9 degrees

I would need a wide fit boot, bought some lovely boots online from next a few years ago and they would not go anyway near me.

Oops! What is it with schools - it's always too hot or freezing; never any middle ground.

love these

Just had a quick look and they do some wide fitting ones.

I have a feeling the boots are a wide foot but not wide calf.

I have wide-fit Next boots from last year, and also stumpy little fat legs - I was a bit surprised to discover that wide = calves as well as feet, but certainly the case for those boots.

twinsetandpearls · 29/10/2008 23:57

Will go and try boots on rather than buy online, I don't think my confidence can take having to return boots as I can't squish my legs into them.
