expatinscotland · 26/10/2008 21:27

the Clarins stuff.

MrsMattie · 26/10/2008 21:29

Aveda one is lovely.

evansmummy · 26/10/2008 21:29

I dunno. Was probably thinking a bit more upmarket than TBS though!

I'd also recommend Molton Brown - was used by all the nurses in NICU when my baby was there as that hospital hand wash and gel destroys hands.

I bought the nurses 3 bottles of the stuff when we were discharged.

I love L'Occitane shea butter it is very rich and softening and a lovely treat linky

hf128219 · 26/10/2008 21:30

Elemis

evansmummy · 26/10/2008 21:32

Oooh I've just looked at L'Occitane. I can smell it already...

Thanks all, that should be enough to be going along with.

(You're very fast btw) xx

And just looked at creme de la mer. Never heard of it before. But man, that IS special! Perhaps a bit out of my range, though...

I'm a hand cream junkie, and the Clarins is my favourite. Has a particular smell though, which may not be to everyone's fancy.

babyOcho · 26/10/2008 21:40

I love the L'Occitane one that smells like lavender.... i like smelling like an old woman

trixymalixy · 26/10/2008 21:41

Clarins for me!!

EachPeachPearMum · 26/10/2008 21:42

Clarins, definitely.

Millie1 · 26/10/2008 21:43

Jurlique lavendar or rose ... divine!

snowybaby · 27/10/2008 09:08

creme brulee hand cream by laura mercier smells sooo yummy!! It's £12 and very very good in my opinion.

honestfriend · 27/10/2008 10:30

personally, I fond the L'occitane a bit sticky.
I prefer Clarins.

clarins gets my vote too

RamblingRosa · 27/10/2008 12:30

Jurlique Rose hand cream is definitely the nicest I've ever used and I've used 'em all!

childrenofthecornsilk · 27/10/2008 12:32

lol hanaflower.

MoccaMint · 27/10/2008 14:43

Clarins, L'Occitane or Cath Kidston (the rose one). TBS almond one that comes in a tub is quite good too.

Bubbaluv · 27/10/2008 15:00

I 3rd Jurlique Rose. Lovely stuff.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 27/10/2008 19:34

How about something from Neals Yard Remedies? You can buy online if there isn't a store/concession in your town. THey are beautiful and even nicer than L"Occitane imo

SlasherGoober · 27/10/2008 19:36

Just to chav it up, I'm going to say Dove.
I like it.

evansmummy · 27/10/2008 21:05

How knowledgeable you all are. I personally use a most excellent one from Lush, but my mum hates them, so no point in getting her that one.

Thanks for your advice xx
