Seven jeans or Rock & Republic

OsmosisBOOnana · 21/10/2008 11:46

Earl also good I believe

Wags · 21/10/2008 11:49

Tutter linked me to these when I was asking about good styles for 'apple' shapes Hudson

Oliveoil · 21/10/2008 12:00

£175!!!!!!!

I didn't realise they were so expensive [reconsiders]

I will go and try some on and see if I am swayed by the outstanding fit or somehting (and then retire back to Gap)

Look at m and m sports. I try on diesel jeans in selfridges to get the size and length and then order a pair from there for about £50.

childrenofthecornsilk · 21/10/2008 12:02

(OO - is it true you lived with a famous manc rockstar?)

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 21/10/2008 12:03

I second m and m direct. Its only place DH will shop from for branded things.

childrenofthecornsilk · 21/10/2008 12:03

It's ace isn't it seashells!

Oliveoil · 21/10/2008 13:02

Olive - I'm a convert here to expensive jeans - my favourite are 7's. I find a lot of them are really low waisted, but 7's do some higher waisted ones that sit just right.

They really are lovely!

superdenki · 21/10/2008 13:39

Get thisen to TK Maxx, if you have time to rummage they often have Seven, Diesel, etc.

Oliveoil · 21/10/2008 13:41

oh yes, TK Maxx

I lose the will to live tbh when I go in there, everyone gets bargains apart from me

I want some high waisted ones

Go for the 7's highwaisted bootcut then Olive - they are lovely and so comfy too!

superloopy · 21/10/2008 13:46

I love my 'seven' jeans. I alway feel fabulous when I wear them!!

I also have 'citizens for humanity' and 'sass and bide' jeans too.

Do you know anyone going to the USA who can buy some for you? Try them on first so you know which ones to get. I got some seven jeans in New York and they were less than half the price of the same ones in Selfridges.

Oliveoil · 21/10/2008 13:46

these look so shit in this photo!

genuine??

I have these

Pannacotta · 21/10/2008 14:02

I like Seven as well (also a bit apple shaped at the mo).
There are places on line you can order them for less, if y ou search the archives you might find soem links.
What happened to Tutter?

flowerybeanbag · 21/10/2008 15:06

These highwaisted dark bootcut ones look just the ticket.

But that site doesn't appear to ship to the UK, only to some other countries in Europe.

kt14 · 21/10/2008 15:20

Be careful in TK Maxx - they mainly sell Seven jeans but they aren't actually the same brand as Seven for all Mankind ones - the really pricey brand which are lovely and so flattering.

I've had a few pairs from ebay, around £65 for a genuine pair but be careful of fakes. Also next now do them through the directory, and just had a £150 pair for £70 in their mid season sale. Link to Seven for all mankind here on john lewis website - am wearing a pair of these right now, come to think of it!

I love my 7 for all mankind jeans...worn them to death, definitely worth the £260 (lots of explaining after buying them...) and now saving up Christmas money so that I can buy another pair once twins are born...

As above - 7 for all mankind are not the ones for sale in TK Maxx...
