Tresemme Salon Silk Shampoo and Conditioner

I used a tresemme generic shampoo a while ago and hated it - gave it to my friend at work.

However just bought mini sizes of this one with a turquoise/green label and am really impressed.

It does smooth my fine frizzy hair and smells quite good too. My original sceptism about Tresemme is reversed.

I post this because I know alot of mnetters start threads about frizzy hair.

thanks for the tip!

in the past i've tried tresemme and wasn't impressed, either.

The only thing that really, really works to control my frizz and does actually give me straight from the hairdressers silky look is the Paul Mitchell shampoo followed by Paul Mitchell super skinny serum and the Kerastese range.

Both are more expensive than shop bought ones but I get them off Look Fantastic website at discounted rates and their large bottles last forever. Highly recommended.

Yes would be interested to hear if it's just me,

The minis aren't too expensive either, esp for an addict like me. At least I have weaned myself off Aveda!!

Can you tell I am using Mumsnet today as displacement activity - trying to settle down to working from home.

Are they the ones in the tube and not a bottle? If so - yes, very pleased with the results having used bottle stuff before.

No they were in small 100ml bottles from Superdrug.

Like the sound of tubes though - something else to look for on my next fix trip to the shops.

I'm using Tresemme salon silk too - but I got mine in a big bottle. It's about £4 for 900ml. Not really sure if it's contributing much to the silkyness (or not) of my hair, that seems to be more down to what I do to it afterwards.

brings my face out in spots

Am now using Faith In Nature Seaweed shampoo.
