Frightening, really

are all their things this bad?

Gobbledigook · 19/10/2008 08:32

Yuk!

samsonara · 19/10/2008 12:56

They describe it as a modern design, I too think it looks like left overs put together. You might just get away with that abstract design for school art home work but on clothes, err yes I definately agree it is with a capital G, ( underlined and in bold too!). I find most of the skirts in that range fall in that category for me though.

cremolafoam · 19/10/2008 12:59

in competition with this little number

TheProvincialLady · 19/10/2008 13:04

I think their pricing policy is to charge £5 per kind of fabric used, regardless of how much, so they feel they have to include at least 5 different kinds or they would never make a profit.

maybe its a skirt for halloween, it is kind of scary.

Liffey · 19/10/2008 13:14

I don't like it myself but I can imagine some people thinking it's nice. Kind of tough gypsy in the office. Not a look I'd try.

Dear God!

Makes shopping at George or the £1 rail at the charity shop seem positivley sensible

LynetteScavo · 19/10/2008 13:24

I bet my sister will be wearing that this Christmas!

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 19/10/2008 19:28

I knew it'd be per una before even seeing it...frightful.

kt14 · 19/10/2008 20:12

Wow. A woman in a skirt like that would be able to tell you if you were having a girl or a boy, and how long you'd live.

MadreInglese · 20/10/2008 14:22

Have they made it from all the left over cut out bits from other items?

filz · 20/10/2008 14:23

OrmIrian · 20/10/2008 14:25

foam?

kt14 · 21/10/2008 15:32

Walked past the revolting "middle aged goth chic" Per Una display today in town and actually winced.

Strange that everyone browsing in that section looked to be fifty plus though.. I think they need to come clean about their target market, because it clearly isn't appealing to us all..!!

Flightattendant2 · 23/10/2008 15:52

They actually put this in an email today. Like it would, um, tempt you.

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 23/10/2008 15:53

My eyes, my eyes!

Now I can't see anything, my visual cortex has shut down completely at the horror of it.

snowleopard · 24/10/2008 11:04

I've just had my mum to stay and had an insight into the "it makes me look a little bit young and daring, who knew I could be so with it" mindset (she's 70). She loves per una-type stuff and also was going on about how great cotton traders are and how they do great jeans with a bit of stretch that would really suit me especially in the funky striped option

I found them online, here they are

I would rather wear no pants at all like eunice with the postie
