M&S: Does anyone know, because I've often wondered...

..What is the difference in M&S between Per Una, Limited Collection, Autograph and the clothes that lurk in the no man's land of 'all the other stuff'?

I mean I sort of understand that in Per Una I can expect art teacher clothes raggedy tartan scrappy flowers to be sewn onto everything, but what do the other things actually mean?

I've never got this at all and M&S's assumption that I do know drives me nuts.

Oh and the soap in the loos smells like sick - that is the very worst thing about M&S.

Have bought fab Autograph soft leather Biker boots this year ,and some of the shoes are ok.
Also have Autograph and Limited Collection long cardigans in grey or brown cashmere mix which are lovely and soft and look great with jeans and boots.
Think like most places it is a case of hunting out the best.
Agree Per Una dreadful,and would never even at 75 touch 'classics'.
